A man has died in hospital after a shooting in North York

Toronto police say a man died Thursday afternoon in North York.

According to a news release Monday, police responded to a call of shots fired near Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue West around 12 p.m.

The victim was found in an underground garage with life-threatening injuries.

According to the police, he was taken to hospital, where he died on Saturday.

Police identified the victim as Devon Brumble, 31, of Toronto.
