Chuck Woolery, the original host of “Wheel of Fortune,” has died at the age of 83.

Game show host Chuck Woolery, the founder of “Wheel of Fortune” and later host of “The Dating Game,” died Saturday at the age of 83.

Woolery died after suffering breathing problems at his Texas home, said friend and podcast co-host Mark Young.

“It is with a broken heart that I tell you that my dear brother @chuckwoolery has just passed away. Life won’t be the same without him, brother RIP,” Young wrote on X.
