A tram in central Oslo derailed and crashed into a shop, injuring 4 people

According to Norwegian police, on Tuesday in central Oslo a tram derailed and crashed into a telephone and computer store, but only four people were slightly injured in the accident.

About 20 people were on the commuter train when it derailed from the tracks at the Storgata intersection, one of the main thoroughfares of the Norwegian capital, near Oslo Central Station.

Witness Mohnsin Munir told Norwegian media that he saw the tram traveling at high speed. He was supposed to turn left, but he derailed and continued straight to the store.

The police said that the tram driver was a suspect in the case. The driver could not be identified.
