Man accused of committing over 750 acts of graffiti in Phoenix

A grand jury has indicted a man for allegedly committing hundreds of acts of graffiti in Phoenix.

The Maricopa County The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 33-year-old Jordan Quimayousie has been charged in connection with more than 750 acts of graffiti along the 19th Avenue corridor over the past few years.

“Quimayousie is accused of using several aliases while vandalizing property, including bus stops, sidewalks, curbs, pedestrian signs, buildings, fire hydrants and more,” the MCAO said. “The graffiti sparked numerous complaints from area residents and caused damage in excess of $57,000.”

Quimayousie is accused of criminal damages and aggravated punitive damages. He faces a $50,000 cash bond.
